Architerctural punctuation - Architectural design of a hotel’s outdoor area - Aegean Island My main focus in this design study was to follow the “genetic line” of the place — the underlying thread that carries cultural and architectural memory. Rather than reproducing existing forms or volumes, I aimed to uncover the essence that shaped traditional architecture: the “social sculptures” of small-scale settlements, created instinctively by the anonymous craftsmen of the past. These informal architects worked with what they had — local materials, limited tools, and a deep understanding of place. At the same time, it plays a crucial role in creating a welcoming and hospitable atmosphere.My design approach was based on conceptual, structural, and artistic references drawn both from the local architectural tradition and the central theme of the overall project. Architectural Punctuation – House NYMPHAEA The "Nymphaea" is the third work in my collection Houses of Water. This house is inspired by water lilies—their harmonious and airy presence in space, as well as their poetic interaction with light and water. The third house in the “Architectural Punctuation – The Houses of Water” series is called Nymphaea. It is an architectural composition exploring the relationship between water, light, and biomorphic geometry. This residence has a strictly square layout and two floors. All corners of the structure are curved, offering a soft fluidity that balances the rigid form. Architectural Punctuations – House METEOR _Second Punctuation_ Continuing the collection “The Houses of Water,” I present the second architectural punctuation: the Meteor house. This time, the architectural form confronts the rugged lines of the mountains. Instead of softening them, it pierces and reshapes them through dynamic geometric gestures. The volumes cut through air and terrain with sharp, slanted incisions, reminiscent of cosmic fragments falling from the atmosphere and embedding into the body of the landscape. The Meteor house expresses the energy of impact—a moment between intention and form. Like a meteorite that did not destroy, but redefined the natural terrain.
