Chair “Mairlyn”
The original photo shows the “Marilyn” chair.
I inspired the chair, of course, from Marilyn Monroe.I tried to convey her femininity through the design.To capture the basic lines and forms of the actress.
I presented the chair to Venetta Sedie (based in Padua, Italy), a manufacturing company, and they enthusiastically agreed to produce it.
Of course, I also designed a series of other furniture to create a set.
This is how the dining table, the chair with arm were created. The rest of the photos show some of the rest of the furniture as well as my original sketches.

Η αρχική φωτογραφία δείχνει την καρέκλα “Μαίριλυν”.
Την καρέκλα την εμπνεύστηκα, βέβαια από την Μαίριλυν Μονρόε.Προσπάθησα να μεταφέρω μέσο του σχεδίου την θηλυκότητα της.Να αποτυπώσω τις βασικές γραμμές και φόρμες της ηθοποιού.
Παρουσίασα την καρέκλα στους υπεύθυνους της Venetta Sedie (με έδρα την Πάδοβα της Ιταλίας) , κατασκευάστριας εταιρείας και αποδέχθηκαν με ενθουσιασμό να την παράγουν.
Βέβαια σχεδίασα και μία σειρά από υπόλοιπα έπιπλα ώστε να δημιουργηθεί ένα σύνολο. Έτσι δημιουργήθηκαν η τραπεζαρία, η καρέκλα με μπράτσο. Στις υπόλοιπες φωτογραφίες φαίνονται μερικά από τα υπόλοιπα έπιπλα καθώς και τα αρχικά μου σκίτσα.
