“Eidol” Sofa
I have inspired the “idol” sofa from the figurines of the Ancient Cycladic culture.
What mainly piqued my interest are the artists who created them and the minimal extended lines they used and with simple geometric shapes approached the human essence.
This just goes to show us the power of lines in how they are used.
At the remaining photos we see other sofas that I designed under the same approach.

Έχω εμπνεστεί τον καναπέ «είδωλο» από τα ειδώλια του Αρχαίου Κυκλαδικού πολιτισμού.
Αυτό που μου κέντρισε κυρίως το ενδιαφέρον, είναι οι καλλιτέχνες που τα δημιούργησαν και οι minimal εκτεταμένες γραμμές που χρησιμοποίησαν και με απλά γεωμετρικά σχήματα προσέγγισαν την ανθρώπινη ουσία.
Αυτό απλώς μας δείχνει τη δύναμη των γραμμών στον τρόπο χρήσης τους.
Στις υπόλοιπες φωτογραφίες βλέπουμε άλλους καναπέδες που σχεδίασα με την ίδια προσέγγιση.
