NYC West – South West Views
This photo shows a work of virtual art. As a subject it has NYC and more specifically its western view. The marking of the landmarks has been done with relative clarity. This view is imprinted after the impressions the city left me during the time I lived there. Returning to Greece, the images I saw there were impressed on my mind and I wanted to capture them. So I chose the linear illustration trying to render as much as possible its Architecture and the rhythm of the city.

Η φωτογραφία μας δείχνει ένα έργο εικονικής τέχνης. Ως θέμα έχει την NYC και πιο ειδικά το δυτική της άποψη. Η αποτύπωση των landmarks έχει γίνει με σχετική σαφήνεια. Την όψη αυτή την αποτύπωση ύστερα από τις εντυπώσεις που μου άφησε η πόλη κατά τη διάρκεια που έζησα εκεί. Επιστρέφοντας στην Ελλάδα η εικόνες που είδα εκεί εντυπώθηκαν στο μυαλό μου και θέλησα να αποτυπώσω. Έτσι επέλεξα τη γραμμική απεικόνιση προσπαθώντας να αποδώσω όσο το δυνατόν την Αρχιτεκτονική της αλλά και τον ρυθμό της πόλης.
