ΜΙΑ ΕΛΛΗΝΙΚΗ ΑΓΚΑΛΙΑ – Sofa Design
“A Greek hug” is the name of the sofa in the photo. Its inspiration and its lines came from the Cycladic figurines of the ancient Greek culture.
The basic form is similar to the way the hands of the figurine are intertwined, forming the way a mother holds her infant.
In terms of construction, this mesh was carried over with a double traverse where each one is joined to the arm – shoulder of the sofa.
This idea evolves into a series of furniture.

«Μια ελληνική αγκαλιά» ονομάζεται ο καναπές της φωτογραφίας. Η έμπνευση και οι γραμμές του προήλθαν από τα κυκλαδικά ειδώλια του αρχαίου ελληνικού πολιτισμού.
Η βασική μορφή είναι παρόμοια με τον τρόπο που μπλέκονται τα χέρια του ειδωλίου, σχηματίζοντας τον τρόπο που μια μητέρα κρατά το βρέφος της.
Κατασκευαστικά το πλέγμα αυτό μεταφέρθηκε με διπλή τραβέρσα όπου το καθένα ενώνεται με το μπράτσο – ώμο του καναπέ.
Αυτή η ιδέα εξελίσσεται σε μια σειρά επίπλων.
